1. Booking

  • Bookings shall be made in writing and shall include the following:

    • Information regarding contractor.

    • Billing address.

    • Contact person responsible for booking.

    • Room type.

    • Number of rooms.

    • Guest(s) names.

    • Arrival and departure dates.

    • Number of adults, (children and age of the children).

    • Requirements for any special needs or services.

2. Hotel regulations

  • Check-in time is from 16:00. 

  • Check-out time is 11:00. Checking out after 11:00 may result in a late departure fee or an additional night charged.

  • Guests shall comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions at the hotel, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures, and registration requirements.

  • The hotel is entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave the hotel if unreasonable behavior is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable.

  • Smoking in the rooms is strictly forbidden and will result in a 25.000 ISK penalty fee.

  • Cooking in the rooms is strictly forbidden and will result in a penalty fee.


3. Cancellation for individuals

  • Cancellation must be made in writing and is only valid if confirmed by the hotel. Send to

  • Cancellation made within 48 hours before 16:00 on arrival date: the full charge will be made.

  • A full charge (100%) will be made if the guest does not show (no show)

  • No charge will be made if the hotel can sell the canceled booking for the same price or more.

4. Force Majeure

  • Magma Hotel claims no responsibility and cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness or cancellations due to weather, strike, natural disaster or any other cause beyond Magma Hotel‘s control.


5. Other

  • Should the hotel, for reasons beyond its control, not be able to provide guests with the agreed rooms, it shall provide rooms of equal or superior quality, without any additional charge. Changes will only be made in consultation with the customer.

  • Any amendments to these terms of booking must be made in writing and confirmed by the hotel.

  • The contract is confidential.
