BISTRO 1783

BISTRO 1783

The bistro takes its name from the year Lakagígar erupted and created the vast lava field next to the hotel. The bistro, which has a great view of Vatnajökull, is warm and cosy with a comfortable atmosphere perfect for relaxing, spending time with your travel companions and to meet other like-minded travellers. At the bistro you can enjoye quality coffee and tea throughout the day, and there are books and magazines to peruse as well as boardgames for your group to enjoy. The setting is romantic as well, as couples can enjoy dinner and drinks over candlelight.
